Today (May 23, 2019) marks the 20th anniversary of Owen Hart passing away after falling from the ceiling of the Kemper Arena in Kansas City for the WWE Over The Edge pay-per-view event where he was supposed to challenge The Godfather for the Intercontinental Championship.
The harness Hart used malfunctioned and he fell to his death at the age of 34. Several wrestlers took to social media to remember him:
“I thought of you with love today but that is nothing new. I thought of you yesterday and days before that too. I think of you in silence as I often speak your name. ……. pic.twitter.com/X16msMJ2Cw

… All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is my keepsake with which I'll never part. God has you in His keeping. I have you in my heart.” – Unknown pic.twitter.com/sWNzzdAY5b
