According to a report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there are currently no plans to include STARDOM with the AEW-NJPW Forbidden Door event. STARDOM, which is owned by NJPW parent company Bushiroad, already has a PPV set the same day (June 26).

When it comes to women wrestlers from Japan, AEW has been working with Tokyo Joshi Pro and Gatoh Move. However STARDOM is interested in working with AEW and taking part in future shows. They also want to bring in AEW talent for their show on December 30 at Sumo Hall. However, neither company appears to have talked about it yet as of this weekend. Bushiroad knows that fans will be flying in for Wrestle Kingdom anyway and hope to get them a few days early for their STARDOM event.

Meanwhile, NJPW is hoping to do a similar show with AEW in Japan. The biggest date they could do this would be in the Tokyo Dome on January 4-5, 2023. These shows are on a Wednesday and Thursday, however, which would make it impossible to send more than a few big names.
