During Tuesday night’s episode of Impact Wrestling, we saw the final segment involving Impact’s own Taya Valkyrie. As speculated earlier, the contract status for Taya Valkyrie was up in the air and it would seem that she would be leaving the company soon. Sure enough, tonight on the show, Taya was written off Impact as she was revealed as the assailant who set up for Larry D. to shoot John E. Bravo during his wedding to Rosemary.
Tommy Dreamer commented, “Jacksonville State Prison” (AEW) if she was lucky, but that she probably wasn’t and would likely be sent to “Stamford Maximum Penitentiary” (WWE) for two years with a third-year option if she doesn’t. Baltimore (ROH) was also mentioned.
Taya’s contract had expired at the end of December and she chose not to renew her deal with Impact Wrestling. Despite this, she stuck around to put over Deonna Purrazzo at Hard to Kill and set up the angle for her character to be “killed off”, so to speak, on tonight’s episode of Impact.
