The Iron Sheik Praises Fan Who Held Up Sign For Him At The Royal Rumble, Natalya & Melina Photo

During Saturday night’s 2022 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view event, a sign was spotted amongst the front rows praising The Iron Sheik.

The Iron Sheik would respond to the sign on his Twitter page, saying,

“THE ROYAL RUMBLE FANS IN THE ST LOUIS ARE THE REAL BUBBA #RoyalRumble2022.”

WWE’s Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon would congratulate both returning stars to the company, as well as Jackass star Johnny Knoxville on their appearances at the Royal Rumble event. Posting a series of tweets, McMahon’s post would read as follows:

“Congratulations to all of last night’s #RoyalRumble winners & competitors! What an incredible night! Welcome back to so many including @sanbenito – competing as if he never left! #BadBunny And @BellaTwins, @McCoolMichelleL, @MickieJames, @AmyDumas, @RealMelina, #MollyHolly, @RondaRousey, @TheBarbieBlank, @ArianeAndrew, #Ivory, @AliciaFoxy, @DanielleMoinet, @SarahRowe– welcome back, you killed it in the women’s #RoyalRumble match! And who could forget @realjknoxville’s @WWE debut! He talked a lot of trash and put up a hell of a fight. While he might not be going home with a #WrestleMania title shot, we can all look forward to #JackassForever coming out February 4th!”

On the topic of returning stars, Melina would pose with Natalya backstage at the event. The latter would then post the picture on her Twitter account with the caption; “Bret Hart would give this picture a 10/10! Thank you @RealMelina for congratulating me on my 5th world record last night at #RoyalRumble. I’m still in awe myself. Also, YOU are amazing!”

Finally, former ECW star Ian Rotten was in attendance at the 2022 WWE Royal Rumble event. Miranda Gordy, the daughter of The Fabulous Freebirds’ Terry Gordy was also at the show.
