Despite the rumors that he’ll be facing WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, John Cena will be kicking off tonight’s episode of RAW.
According to a report from Fightful, Cena is considered a ‘free agent’ in WWE and will likely be appearing on both RAW and SmackDown for the time being. Cena’s return at Money in the Bank was a poorly kept secret backstage.
The reason Cena will be able to appear at SummerSlam is because his filming for “Argylle” isn’t scheduled to take place until “well after” the pay-per-view event.
