Tommaso Ciampa has returned to WWE.
During this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Ciampa answered an open challenge from The Miz.
While The Miz originally said he was going to accept Rollins’ challenge and give the fans in his hometown of Cleveland, OH a chance to see a “hometown hero” compete for the World Heavyweight Championship, he instead issued an open challenge of his own. This brought out Ciampa, who attacked Miz and we saw a match being made official. The finish came when Ciampa hit The Miz with his Fairy Tale Ending finisher.
Ciampa hasn’t been seen in in-ring action since September after undergoing hip surgery.
