AEW President Tony Khan has said that some of the issues in the company may have been “preventable.”
In recent months, AEW has faced multiple setbacks, including injuries, reports of an unhappy roster, and the All Out media scrum fight.
Speaking to Variety, Khan said that it was after the fight involving CM Punk, Ace Steel and the Elite that he reflected on these setbacks.
“That was when I started to say, ‘You know, a lot of these setbacks were very preventable, and there were things that I didn’t even want to do in the first place.
“So I just said going forward that I’m only going to do ideas that I feel good about.”
Before this week’s AEW Dynamite, Andrade El Idolo got into an altercation with Sammy Guevara, resulting in the former being sent home.
