On a recent edition of the “Under the Ring” podcast, Adam Cole expressed his willingness to sort things out with Roderick Strong, noting that he wants to speak with his friend about their current issues.

Cole and Strong haven’t been on the same page since Cole befriended MJF, and the Panama City Playboy said,

“I know man, God. I’m waiting for him to return my calls, it’s an emotional time. I know he’s frustrated about a lot of things, I wish me, him, and Max could sit down in a room and just talk this thing out.”

Cole and MJF will compete for the AEW World Championship at AEW All In 2023, and they will team up on the pre-show for the ROH World Tag Team Title match.

In a recent interview with Digital Spy, Hikaru Shida praised Kenny Omega and Dustin Rhodes for helping out the AEW women’s division.

You can check out some highlights from the interview below:

On Kenny Omega’s early work with the women’s division: “I think he worked especially for Joshi because he wrestled in Japan, and he knows how Joshi is good. I always say that Japanese Joshi wrestling is the best in the world, and he helped so much to show that to the world. Also, he can speak Japanese. So he helped so much [with] language, too.”

On Dustin Rhodes’ help behind the scenes: “Dustin, he’s always nice and cheers me up. Of course, he trained female wrestlers and still helps so much.”

On a recent media call for AEW All In 2023, AEW President Tony Khan addressed questions about Sting’s contract expiration this year and the future plans for the 64-year-old legend.

Khan stated that he would rather leave the choice for retirement in Sting’s hands alone, highlighting his partnership with Darby Allin and other factors that sustain his continued relevance.

You can check out some highlights from the media call below:

On why he plans to keep Sting around if possible: “Sting is very well aware that I would like him to stay as long as he feels physically up to wrestling. I think he enjoys doing it and he’s having a lot of fun. Sometimes you hit on things in life that you think are going to be good and they turn out to be great. For me, a good example of that is Sting and Darby together. Not just on screen, but off-screen too.”

On maintaining Sting’s legacy as part of the retirement question: “There have been so many great memories for Sting in AEW. I don’t want it to end. I won’t be the one to pull the plug on it. When the time comes, Sting knows he needs to the one to say, ‘I don’t want to do this anymore,’ because I’m going to let him go as long as he wants. I want him to stay as long as he can. It’s so important to me that we let Sting finish his career the right way.”
