Tony Khan Thanks Fans After Final Dynamite On TNT, Hypes Rampage: New Year’s Smash

Tony Khan checked in on social media with messages for AEW fans a couple of times during the Dynamite: New Year’s Smash special event on Wednesday night.

Twice during the show, which was the final episode of the weekly two-hour AEW program on TNT before the company transitions to TBS next week, Khan took to his Twitter page to post a couple of thoughts.

He returned again the next day with his final thoughts on the show before shifting his focus to promoting the AEW Rampage: New Year’s Smash special event taped on Wednesday evening for Friday night’s show on New Year’s Eve.

“What a match right now on AEW Dynamite,” wrote Khan during the ten-man opening contest on Wednesday night. “It’s so great to hear Jim Ross back at the desk calling the great wrestling action on Dynamite: New Year’s Smash now on TNT!”

Prior to the main event later in the evening, the boss-man of All Elite Wrestling resurfaced on social media again with another message.

“It’s main event time NOW on AEW Dynamite: New Year’s Smash on TNT,” he wrote. “Thank you to everyone joining us for the last Dynamite of 2021 [and] the last Dynamite ever on TNT!”

Finally, Khan resurfaced on Twitter again on Thursday morning with his thoughts on the final Dynamite show on TNT.

“Thank you everyone who watched AEW Dynamite last night, it was a special night for us [plus] AEW Rampage on Christmas, another great rating for Rampage, which has had a great trend to close the year,” Khan wrote. “There’s [one] last AEW show in 2021, I promise tomorrow [New Year’s Eve] Rampage will be a great one!”
