WWE has lost a top executive who decided to depart from the company after giving notice months ago.
Pwinsider.com reported on Monday that former WWE Vice President of Global Television Production Michael Mansury is gone from the company. He departed last week after letting WWE know of his plans several months ago.
It was noted in the report that Mansury was seen as a big part of the Triple H regime. Mike Johnson added that “some in the company had dubbed him unofficially as the “next” Kevin Dunn, as in the idea was that he would one day fill Dunn’s role down the line.”
Mansury had been with the company since March 2009 when he started as a Production Assistant and rose up the rankings in the company by holding positions such as Associate Producer, Producer and then Managing Producer of WWE. He was moved to Vice President in March 2016.
He was well-liked in the company, which led to some people being shocked by his departure.
Matt Miller and Kevin Dunn will be handling directing WWE broadcasts going forward.
