Update – More Exclusive Backstage Notes From RAW & Possible **SPOILERS** + SD! Women At RAW?

UPDATE: According to Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com, the women of the WWE SmackDown! Live brand have been told to be at tonight’s WWE RAW TV tapings in Cincinnati, OH. Many of the women were reportedly given very short notice and were only told late this morning and early this afternoon that they needed to be at RAW. There is no word on how this will affect tonight’s WWE SmackDown! Live house show.

We can also exclusively report that the women from RAW and SmackDown! Live are expected to be kept in one room backstage or will all be at ringside at RAW tonight while Stephanie McMahon makes the “historic announcement”. As we previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, all of the women are being “kept in the dark” regarding what the announcement is. WWE officials are planning to film their “genuine reactions” to the announcement, likely for an upcoming edition of “WWE 24”.

There are two rumors circulating backstage at today’s WWE RAW TV tapings regarding Stephanie McMahon’s “historic announcement” that will take place tonight. The first is the introduction of women’s tag-team titles while the other is an all-women’s pay-per-view event that will be held later this year. As far as the women’s tag-team titles are concerned, they would be defended on both the RAW and SmackDown! Live brands once they are crowned. It’s possible that both announcements will be made tonight and the first-ever women’s tag-team champions will be crowned at the first-ever all-women’s pay-per-view event.
