We reported last night here on eWn that Buff Bagwell was involved in a serious car accident on Sunday. Following the accident, Bagwell was taken to Wellstar Kennestone Hospital with serious injuries. Bagwell was driving a black 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe and lost control while going around a curve. He then collided with the center median and a metal fence. He then hit another curb before colliding with a “free-standing bathroom” at the Cobb County Transit bus station.
Atlanta promoter Ron Gosset took to Facebook earlier this evening, providing an update on Bagwell’s condition. He said,
Please send up Prayers for my friend Marcus “BUFF” Bagwell.
He text me tonight and is hoping to leave the hospital tomorrow.
But due to the terrible car wreck…he said he has some Bad injuries including..
Broke ribs, broke right hip, broke left socket bone, broke nose, torn right groin muscle, lots of purple bruising. But No surgeries!
Police believe Bagwell was impaired by prescription medication at the time of the crash.
