Eric Young returned to Impact Wrestling in July of 2020. It was believed at the time that the contract he signed was a multi-year deal. A new report from Fightful has details on his contract status, as well as that of Crazzy Steve.
Young departed Impact in 2016 after a twelve-year stint with the company. During that time, EY adopted the superhero persona Super Eric, feuded with the Main Event Mafia, held numerous championships, and was one of the brand’s most recognizable performers. He spent some time with WWE, mainly on the NXT roster as the leader of SAniTy, before returning to Dixie Carter’s promotion in July 2020. Fightful reports that his current contract runs through the end of this year. Fans can expect to see Young in Impact at least through the end of December.
The report would go on to note that Crazzy Steve’s contract will not end this year. It was announced in May 2020 that he had also signed a multi-year deal, though specific terms were not disclosed. Steve will remain with Impact beyond 2022.
