Kenny Omega hasn’t wrestled since dropping the AEW World Championship to Adam Page on November 13th at Full Gear, and there is now an update on his injuries.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the Canadian wrestler is recovering from arthroscopic knee surgery, something that will take around ten weeks.

At the end of March, Omega will have another surgery for a sports hernia, with two months being listed as the necessary recovery time.

On top of that, there are other issues that Omega wants to adjust before returning to the ring. In the past, he in fact said that he had been suffering from vertigo since 2018 before he became IWGP Heavyweight Champion.

While he hoped to be back in February of this year, it looks like he still needs a lot more time off and AEW hasn’t set a specific date for his return.
