According to a new report, the lawsuit WWE doctor Dr. Chris Amann filed against CM Punk and Colt Cabana will be heading to trial soon. There was talk that the lawsuit would be settled before a trial began, but that hasn’t happened as of this writing.
For those unaware, Amann filed the lawsuit after CM Punk went on Colt Cabana’s podcast in November of 2014 and claimed Amann mistreated him for a back injury and concussion.
Cabana then appeared on The LAW radio show in October of 2017 and said that the lawsuit was costing him a lot of money in legal expenses. He said,
“The update is that it’s still going on, it’s costing me a lot of money, and that’s the extent that my lawyers will allow me to talk. So nothing breaking here, but just do know that it’s always on my mind, it’s always a very sad thing. And I’ve talked to other podcasters… it’s kind of changed the way that he’s worked and realizing that this is a reality that you can host a show and get sued for it.”
