Monday Night RAW may return to a two-hour broadcast if Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque gets his way.
In July 2012, to mark the show’s 1,000th episode, RAW became a three-hour show, which had previously only been reserved for special events.
This month, Triple H was appointed Head of WWE Creative and Head of WWE Talent Relations, with speculation running rampant of possible changes.
In a clip from 2015 which has been doing the rounds online, The Game tells ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin about his desire for the show to return to a two-hour format:
“If I could change anything, I’d love it to be two hours. Third hour of television is so exponentially harder to write. I can’t even begin to describe it to you. It just is really difficult.”
While this week’s RAW was the first of the Triple H Creative era, the show was written last week by McMahon prior to the billionaire’s retirement.
