Vince Russo has made it clear he’s no fan of Dakota Kai following the Kiwi’s return to WWE last month.
Kai returned to WWE at SummerSlam after being released in April, marking the first of several returns of the post-Vince McMahon era.
Since Kai, Karrion Kross, Scarlett, Dexter Lumis, and Hit Row have all returned to WWE on the main roster.
Speaking on Legion of RAW, Russo recalled a conversation with WWE Hall of Famer ‘Road Dogg’ Jesse James about Kai.
“I was basically trying to tell Road Dogg, ‘Bro, listen, I’m a television viewer at home, I’m watching this show, I don’t know who these girls are. They don’t look like stars to me, okay?’
“Road Dogg, what did he talk about bro? What great workers they are (…) With all due respect, that’s not a television star bro, that’s not a television star bro.
“You know what a television star is? Sable is a television star, Chyna is a television star, Sunny is a television star. This is not a television star.”
Kai has teamed with Bayley and IYO SKY since returning to WWE.
The trio will face RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Asuka and Alexa Bliss at WWE Clash at the Castle on September 3.
