Harley Cameron has been making waves lately in All Elite Wrestling as an on-screen personality. Before signing with the company, she was known as “Danni Ellexo,” but her real name is Danielle Vidot. A few months ago, The Sun, a British tabloid newspaper, featured her backstory in an article titled: DREAM BIG Meet Harley Cameron, the stunning model who went from a BKFC ring girl to become a pro wrestler and found love
To summarize, the Australian model landed a theater job before moving to the United States to pursue a career in modeling and singing. She worked as a ring girl for the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships while focusing on her music. Meanwhile, her boyfriend Daniel Vidot, also known as Xyon Quinn to WWE fans, joined the WWE NXT brand under a developmental contract. Danielle was inspired to get into wrestling but didn’t want to step on his toes, so she focused on her other ventures. In her first music video release, titled “Indestructible”, she collaborated with Scarlett Bordeaux and Shotzi Blackheart.
Harley’s first recorded match was for WrestlePro in February 2022, where she faced Scarlett Bordeaux in a losing effort. She later debuted for SHINE and All Elite Wrestling on an episode of Dark. Not long before Halloween, she collaborated with Shotzi Blackheart and Scarlett Bordeaux again to release a cover of the song “I Put A Spell On You,” famously covered by Bette Midler for Disney’s 1993 Hocus Pocus movie. WWE posted the music video on their YouTube channel.
Outside of WWE, Cameron collaborated with Cassie Lee and Jessica McKay, formerly known as Billie Kay and Peyton Royce of The IIconics, for a music video titled “The IInspiration” while they were working with Impact Wrestling.
Earlier this year, Harley Cameron emerged in QT Marshall’s QTV segments on episodes of AEW Dynamite and Rampage after being off TV for a while. The QTV gimmick parodies the TMZ environment and occasionally makes light of dirtsheets and other media outlets reporting on professional wrestling.
Harley has worked two matches in 2023, with her most recent victory taking place on AEW Dark against Mafiosa. Although she hasn’t had a match on AEW’s main programming yet, she has appeared several times in a managerial role, supporting Powerhouse Hobbs alongside QT Marshall. In April, she confirmed her signing with AEW.
This month, Harley Cameron had two notable moments on AEW programming. On an episode of Rampage, she appeared to flirt with Anthony Bowens before he emphasized that he is gay. Since then, she has gone the extra mile to convince The Acclaimed that she is just as good, if not better, at rapping than Max Caster. She recently released a rap music video, which initially received mixed reactions from fans.
Having achieved so much in just a few years, this young rising star will undoubtedly receive more opportunities to create memorable moments. Harley Cameron exudes confidence, and while many fans may still ask, “Who?!” we hope this sheds some light on her unique personality. From her diverse background in modeling and music to her emerging presence as an on-screen personality, Harley Cameron continues to captivate fans with her distinctive persona.
