Will Ospreay hopes that Jon Moxley will agree to a ceasefire during their upcoming triple threat match at this week’s NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 pay-per-view event.

Ospreay and Moxley will face David Finlay to crown the inaugural IWGP Global Heavyweight Champion, which is replacing the IWGP U.S. Heavyweight Championship.

Appearing at the Wrestle Kingdom 18 press conference, Ospreay pitched an idea for himself and Moxley to focus on Finlay for the early portion of the match. He said,

“This is a match between me and Moxley, (David Finlay), you don’t belong here. I am willing to offer a ceasefire for the first five minutes.

“Me and you work together to get rid of Finlay and then we can have the singles match we wanted. To sweeten the deal I have two non-alcoholic beers.”

Ospreay and Moxley previously wrestled at NJPW ‘Windy City Riot’ in April 2022 in a main event that saw Moxley get the win.
