Former UFC Light Heavyweight and Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier announced his retirement on Saturday night after losing to UFC Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic in the final fight of their trilogy at UFC 252.
Dave Meltzer reported on the Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast that WWE still has an interest in signing him. FOX also has an interest in bringing Cormier to the SmackDown announce team, currently run by Michael Cole and Corey Graves.
He’s still under contract with the UFC to do color commentary for them.
