One of the main reasons behind Baron Corbin’s backstage heat was because of an argument he had with Dr. Joseph Maroon during a meeting. WWE officials thought the argument was inappropriate for the setting. It was said to be “awkward” and “uncomfortable”, with some believing Corbin should’ve talked to Moroon about his issue in private.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter also reports that WWE discovered that Corbin was apart of the lawsuit over concussions against the NFL.
Meltzer wrote: “It also came out in the discussion that Corbin was one of the players suing the NFL in a concussion lawsuit, which makes things weird given he’s now working as a pro wrestler. Plus WWE apparently wasn’t aware of this fact until this past month.”
Before all this, Corbin was likely going to get a WWE title run by cashing his Money in the Bank briefcase. A few weeks ago, his cash in failed on Jinder Mahal.
Some WWE officials Corbin are not pleased with how he handles himself on twitter, getting into arguments with fans and other wrestlers. Nevertheless, Corbin is feuding with AJ Styles over the US title, so WWE might not have completely given up on him yet.
