WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan vs. Ronda Rousey in an Extreme Rules Match was booked at this year’s WWE Extreme Rules premium live event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
Morgan tried to hit her with the bat, but Rousey stopped her and hit her with a knee strike to the gut. Rousey with an ankle lock, but Morgan sent her to the apron then hit her with a knee strike. Liv went for a baseball slide, but Rousey fired off. They used various weapons including a chair and a table. Morgan hit a code red with a chair for a near fall. Morgan hit a splash off the top rope for a dive through a table for a near fall. Rousey with an armbar then put her in a choke with her legs and Morgan passed out.
Winner: Ronda Rousey – NEW Champion
