Earlier today, it was reported by Pwinsider that former WWE backstage producer and writer Road Dogg (Brian James) is returning to WWE. According to Johnson, Road Dogg will assume the position of Senior Vice President of Live events, a position that Jeff Jarrett once filled before he departed from the company on August 21st. Road Dogg may not be the only former backstage name returning to the company.
Fightful is reporting that former NXT creative producer Ryan Katz is said to be on his way back to WWE. Interestingly, Katz has been hosting a podcast with Road Dogg.
Katz appeared on the August 27, 2012 edition of Monday Night RAW under the name Stylez Monroe in the anger management segment involving Bryan Danielson and Kane. He also did motion capture for the SmackDown vs. RAW video games. He was released in January as part of the massive NXT roster cuts.
