WWE News: Roster Exits Saudi Arabia, New TLC Trademark

WWE’s roster have successfully departed Saudi Arabia following Saturday’s Crown Jewel event. As we reported yesterday here on eWn, the talent all made it out of the country without issue. The report goes on to state that some talent flew out on private jets, while others took group flights home, stopping in either Paris or London en route back to the U.S.

As many wrestling fans will remember, the WWE crew have not always had it so easy when traveling in and out of Saudi Arabia. Following the Crown Jewel event in 2019, talent were stuck on the plane for several hours and faced significant delays in leaving the country. The NXT roster was used to fill out the following night’s SmackDown.

In other news, WWE filed a new trademark application for TLC: Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. The trademark was filed on November 2nd for merchandise purposes. The trademark is described as follows:

“Clothing, namely, tops, shirts, jackets, sweatshirts, hoodies; outerwear, namely, coats; bottoms, pants, shorts, underwear, dresses, pajamas, lingerie, clothing ties, scarves, gloves, swimwear; Halloween and masquerade costumes; footwear, namely, shoes, sneakers, slippers, flip flops, boots; headwear, namely, hats, caps; wrist bands; bandanas; championship trophy belts.”

The last TLC premium live event took place in December of 2020.
