The following is from our play-by-play coverage of the WWE NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4 event:
EC3 tossed the jacket of Dream back at him before the match. They lock up to begin the match and EC3 tossed him into the corner several times. Dream worked over the left wrist of EC3, who then reversed it and went after him.
EC3 sent him groin first onto the top rope. EC3 with a back body drop then a scoop slam then an elbow drop and clotheslines him over the top rope. Dream with a DDT to EC3 on the ramp then rolled him into the ring for 2. Dream with a neck breaker for 2 as he continues the attack. EC3 made his comeback with a series of strikes and a stinger splash in the corner followed by a neck breaker. EC3 went for his finisher but Dream rolled him up for 2.
EC3 avoided a superkick and hit a front face buster for 2. EC3 with a series of strikes to Dream but Dream fired back with a throat punch and went to the top rope where EC3 tossed him off. EC3 went to the top rope and hit a crossbody but Dream rolled him up for 2. EC3 with a slap then hit a powerbomb and another one.
EC3 with several chops in the corner and hit a superplex. Dream caught him with a superkick then hit his finisher for 2. EC3 with a german suplex for 2. EC3 was bleeding from the bridge of his nose. Dream managed to hit his finisher on the apron to EC3 then went to the top rope where he hit an elbow drop on the apron for the win.
