North American Champion Carmelo Hayes vs. Ricochet was booked at this year’s WWE NXT Worlds Collide event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
They went back and forth in the early going. Trick Williams distracted Ricochet, which led to Hayes taking over and dominating.Hayes with a spring board slingblade for a near fall. Both starts went for a springboard crossbody and they collided. Ricochet hit a super kick and Hayes kneed him in the throat. Ricochet with a code breakker type of move. Hayes went to the top rope and Ricochet hit a superplex. Ricochet went for a dive, but Hayes caught him with a cradle for the win.
