NXT Champion Bron Breakker vs. NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate in a title unification match was booked at this year’s WWE NXT Worlds Collide event. The following is the play-by-play coverage of the match:
It started off slow until they traded some near falls. Bate hit an outside dive. Back in the ring, Bate missed a standing shooting star. Bate was caught and powerslams to the ground. Bate with a quick roll up for 2. Bate caught Bron with a sitdown powerbomb for 2. They fought on the top rope before Bron hit a clothesline off the top rope and hit a sitdown powerbomb for 2. They brawled before Bate did a spinning move for 2. Bate with a clothesline for 2. Bate hit a powerbomb for a near fall. Bron went for a spear, but ate a series of knees. Bron avoided a powerbomb and then went for a powerslam, but Bate rolled him up for 2. Bate went for a clothesline and Bron speared him for the win.
