WWE Reportedly Planning Huge PPV Event In Australia


There have been rumblings that the WWE is looking to hold a big event later this year. If you recall, The MCG (Melbourne Cricket Ground) has been rumored to wanting to hold a big WWE event with the idea of bringing in 100,000 fans.

The Herald Sun (a major newspaper in Victoria, Australia) reports that WWE has partnered up with Visit Victoria to put on a show in October. An announcement for the event is expected to occur at WrestleMania 34.

According to the report, it would be a pay-per-view event and that the sports entertainment company would feature top stars such as The Undertaker, Rey Mysterio, and John Cena.

It’s estimated the event would bring more than $100 million to the state’s economy.
