With WWE looking to add some fresh faces to their rosters, many names have participated in recent WWE tryouts. One such name is former ROH World Women’s Champion Rok-C. According to a new report from Fightful, despite there previously being times that WWE has passed on talent for being “too young,” they are very interested in Rok-C. For those unaware, Rok-C is just 20 years old.
The report notes that Rok-C performed particularly well when she took part in those aforementioned WWE Performance Center tryouts. There was also reportedly a significant push within the company to get Rok-C signed even before she impressed WWE officials at her tryouts.
It was noted that one Performance Center source pointed to Rok-C’s recent main event match with Deonna Purrazzo on Impact Wrestling as a reason as to why the hiring was a “no brainer,” but they also mentioned that they thought Wheeler YUTA was a no brainer last year and WWE passed on signing him.
