Fightful Select has shared some backstage notes from Tuesday’s edition of WWE NXT TV.
CM Punk was in attendance backstage at the WWE NXT TV tapings. However, the Second City Saint kept a much lower profile than his previous visits.
Several people in NXT were unaware of Punk’s presence until photos began circulating.
Carmelo Hayes was reportedly absent from this week’s TV tapings.
The backstage morale was said to be “largely positive,” and “everyone was happy” with how the episode came together.
Additionally, WWE’s recent practice of airing pre-taped vignettes is set to continue. WWE NXT officials are pleased with the response to pre-taped vignettes on the show.
Joaquin Wilde was originally expected to have more distance for his dive spot, leaving his opponent to recover and catch him in time. Wilde is receiving praise for his willingness to do big spots.
The segment where Tatum Paxley popped out of a hidden compartment had her enter the hidden enclosure underneath the stands for the reveal.
The low-blow spot with Arianna Grace and Gigi Dolin reportedly caught many off guard. Nevertheless, both Superstars were credited for selling the finish.
