Bruce Prichard was a big fan of Bubba Ray Dudley’s stuttering gimmick.
Speaking on a recent edition of his “Something To Wrestle With” podcast, the WWE executive said Bubba’s stuttering gimmick was very entertaining to him. He said,
“I find the Dudleys to be highly entertaining. You got Big Dick Dudley, and Spike Dudley, … but the most entertaining, to me, was ‘Stuttering’ Bubba Ray Dudley.”
He continued, “To me, that was the endearing Dudley. To me, that made me want to help him [and] root for him all that much more, because I knew … he [was] fighting to get this out here. He was emotional.”
Thomas Latimer was a recent guest on the “Developmentally Speaking” podcast to discuss a variety of topics, including his time working with Bill DeMott prior to the latter coming to WWE NXT.

On his relationship with Bill DeMott before DeMott came to NXT: “I’d already had a fairly decent relationship with Bill because Ryan Connor, my old tag partner, he was in Deep South with Bill back in the day and this and that.”
On learning from DeMott: “Bill, I really liked, so there’s … he’s someone that really sort of toughened me up and made me get thick skin and that was something that I needed. You generally have people that sort of take you under their wing and Bill took me under his wing.”
