AEW President Tony Khan is looking forward to booking CMLL stars at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024 pay-per-view event.
In a recent appearance on the “SportsGrid” podcast, Khan discussed having CMLL talent as part of this year’s Forbidden Door III event.

On having CMLL as part of Forbidden Door 2024: “100% yes, I definitely want CMLL involved in practically anything we do. They’re such a great partner already, it’s been great. It’s been our first year of the partnership and we’ve been able to do really exciting things working with them.”
On NJPW’s transition to younger stars: “New Japan’s got a great young roster right now. [Hiroshi] Tanahashi is a perfect leader for the organization at the right time, and it’s great working with New Japan and CMLL. Very excited about Forbidden Door 3.”
