On a recent edition of his “Kliq This” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash weighed in on which athlete from the sports world was the best worker in a major wrestling promotion. Nash cited former NFL player Lawrence Taylor as his pick.

He said, “Of all of them, the best worker was Lawrence Taylor, I think. Of the guys that was actually you know a part of the promotion.”

At WrestleMania 11 in April 1995, Lawrence Taylor beat Bam Bam Bigelow in the main event of the show.

On a recent edition of his “Tuesday with The Taskmaster” podcast, former WCW booker Kevin Sullivan discussed how talent wellness has improved compared to his generation.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On how wrestlers now are looking after themselves more: “It’s because they’re not driving three thousand miles a week. I don’t think that sitting in cars that long – where do you get the energy to work out and watch what you’re eating? These young guys have learned a lesson from the guys of my generation.”

On wrestlers using supplements instead of steroids: “[Wrestlers today] got great supplements and they’re not using the steroids. I’m a believer that – I never used to think this way when I was taking them – but steroids cause a lot of problems later in life.”

On how rampant steroid use was earlier on: “I’m not going to mention his name, but he’s a huge guy from the WWE. He was a big name, he was in a tag team. I saw him take 9cc’s right off the bat. I think there was three needles with 3cc’s each. That can’t be good for you? Back then, If 1cc was the recommended dosage a week, people were taking five.”
