Nic Nemeth Reveals WWE Officials Used Unaired Footage To Remove Him From TV

On a recent edition of Dylan Postl’s “Going Postl” podcast, former WWE Superstar Nic Nemeth (Dolph Ziggler) revealed incidents of WWE higher-ups roasting wrestlers by playing unaired footage of them messing up and using it as an excuse to give them less TV time on WWE programming.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On how officials would use such footage to roast him: “A lot of times, stuff like that is done…to bust balls, and then you’re like ‘Hey, we know. It’s kind of cool that, 99 times out of 100, you’re better than everyone else on the entire planet. You messed up this thing, so let’s make a joke about it and roast you.’”

On WWE office people using it as an excuse to remove him from TV: “But it’s not your friends roasting you, it’s a*****e office guys who don’t like you and are looking for an excuse to take you off TV. So it’s no longer a fun roast between friends, it’s ‘See, you did this one bad thing. That’s why you can’t be champion.’ Sadly it’s more that way than the fun roasting.”

Nemeth was released by WWE in September 2023 following which he signed with TNA.
