WWE Monday Night RAW will be airing on Netflix starting in January 2025. This will be the first time RAW will not air new episodes on a traditional television network.
On a recent edition of his “Oh You Didn’t Know” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Brian “Road Dogg” James weighed in on WWE’s $5 billion deal with Netflix. He said,
“It’s growth. It’s forward movement. It’s forward-thinking. To me, yeah, it’s very eye-opening … To see how quickly, how meteoric, whatever this growth spurt is. Like, it’s exciting. It is exciting news.”
WWE’s deal with Netflix is worth $500 million annually and will span over ten years. This represents a significant increase compared to WWE’s previous deal with NBCU, valued at approximately $250-260 million per year.
