The untimely passing of stars like Bray Wyatt and Brodie Lee motivated Becky Lynch to make amends with Charlotte Flair, The Man has revealed.
Though once as close as sisters, Lynch and Flair had a falling out during their WWE careers but have made amends, as seen with a hug at Survivor Series 2023.
On a recent edition of the “Getting Over: Wrestling” podcast, Lynch discussed how she was motivated to fix her relationship with Flair. She said,
“Having that hostility towards somebody kind of weighs on you, you know what I mean? I think life is too short for that and we witnessed that. We’ve seen the tragic passing of people that went far too young, like Bray Wyatt, like Luke Harper, and other friends who passed away that were very close to me in the last few months too, and so all of those things I think as you grow and mature you realize that these petty differences aren’t worth the toxicity it leaves in you and the weight that it carries.”
Flair is currently out of action due to an injury she suffered in December of last year. She is said to be healing up faster than initially expected.
Lynch will challenge WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40 next week in Philadelphia, PA.
