Zelina Vega is one of the competitors in Saturday’s women’s Money in the Bank 2023 ladder match.
Speaking during a recent interview with “Gorilla Position,” the LWO member commented on her mindset heading into the ladder match and what her expectations are. She said,
“I’m excited. I think more than anything, it’s a nerve-wracking thing. But it’s also, you know, if you’re gonna do it, you gotta overdo it, and you gotta make sure that the highlight reel belongs to you, whether that’s grabbing the briefcase or just having the craziest moment. For me, I think about, ‘Okay, what would Jeff Hardy do? What kind of crazy move would he do? Or what would Rey Mysterio do? I think it’s cool to be able to pull from them and put in my own way.”
In other news, WWE executive Bruce Prichard recently took to his “Something to Wrestle With” podcast to discuss what could have happened if Kurt Angle and Ken Shamrock feuded in a WWE ring. He said,
“I think that would have been great. I think that they would have had instant chemistry. Kurt Angle and Ken Shamrock, man, just let them go. They wouldn’t have to discuss a damn thing, and I think that they would make beautiful music together. Unfortunately, that will never happen, but it would have been great. I would have liked to have seen that.”
