- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament Semifinals Match: Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams defeated LWO’s Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde by pinfall.
- Backstage, Ridge Holland was speaking to Ava when Lexis King came over to try to bribe her with some gifts of his own merch, leading to Ava booking a match between King and Holland for later.
- Also backstage, Tatum Paxley told Lyra Valkyria that she attacked Roxanne Perez last week and put her through the table because she was getting in Lyra’s way and once she takes care of her tonight, Lyra will be able to stay champion forever.
- Roxanne Perez defeated Tatum Paxley by pinfall.
- Backstage, Arianna Grace was speaking to Wren Sinclair about how to fit in around the NXT roster, calling herself an inspirational leader, telling her not to sound like a girl from the ranch. Fallon Henley interrupted to tell Grace to stop filling Sinclair’s head with Arianna’s delusions of grandeur and suggested they have a match.
- Lola Vice defeated Elektra Lopez by pinfall.
- Vignette: Joe Gacy went to where Dijak “goes to think”, despite not being invited. After some badmouthing, they started to fight.
- Lexis King defeated Ridge Holland by pinfall due in large part to interference from Gallus.
- The goodbye of Chase University has to wait for another day, as Jacy Jayne revealed she orchestrated a “women of Chase U” calendar that is raising enough money to save them and then some.
- The D’Angelo Family had a vignette about
- Brooks Jensen wanted to hang out with Fallon Henley, who was getting ready for her match and essentially blew him off.
- After the commercial break, they celebrated backstage and Andre Chase told Jayne she saved not only Chase U, but his life. Lexis King came over to ask for a signed copy, leading to Riley Osborne telling him to go away, King saying nobody likes Osborne and Thea Hail professing (and backpedaling) about how she likes him. Dijak and Joe Gacy stumbled into the group, having been fighting behind the scenes all this time.
- Arianna Grace defeated Fallon Henley by pinfall due to interference from Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend.
- OTM hyped themselves up in a vignette.
- In the parking lot, Dijak and Gacy were fighting on top of a production truck. Gacy fell down into what I’m assuming was supposed to be a dumpster, but was filmed in a way to not show much so as to avoid seeing the crash mat.
- Backstage, Baron Corbin wants better communication with Bron Breakker and calls themselves The Wolf Dogs twice, which Breakker doesn’t let down. They spoke about Breakker’s appearance in the Royal Rumble and how they’re going to win the Dusty Cup this weekend.
- NXT Heritage Cup Match: Noam Dar defeated Von Wagner 2-0. Wagner then put Oro Mensah through the commentary table.
- Dijak wants Gacy in a No DQ match for Vengeance Day. Ava said he isn’t in any condition to compete, only for Gacy to stumble up from the dumpster, say that sounds fun, and he’s down.
- Ilja Dragunov and Trick Williams had their face-to-face promo, basically repeating everything they’ve been saying for weeks. Dragunov thinks Melo is too involved and messing with Trick. Trick thinks Dragunov was ducking him at New Year’s Evil and plans to win the title. Dragunov knows Trick will give him 100%, but he’s obviously planning on retaining. They shake hands. Then, Dragunov pulls Williams in for a hug that takes Trick by surprise. Then, The Wolf Dogs jump Trick. Melo comes out to help fight them off while Dragunov was reeling in the corner.
