Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.
Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.
Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.
With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.
MONDAY NIGHT RAW
- After a promo of trash talking each other, Becky Lynch and Doudrop defeated Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan by pinfall.
- KO Show: Kevin Owens spoke to Seth Rollins about The Visionary’s upcoming universal title match against Roman Reigns at Royal Rumble. Rollins intends to win the title and bring it over to Raw. Owens plans on winning Royal Rumble to have a match against Rollins at WrestleMania. Damian Priest interrupted to call them both delusional. Then, Kevin Owens defeated Damian Priest by pinfall.
- Chad Gable honored Otis as graduating Alpha Academy now that they’re tag team champions. Riddle interrupted. A rematch is in the books, but only if Riddle and Randy Orton can win an Alpha Academy Academic Challenge. Orton used a distraction to hit Gable with an RKO and Riddle took out Otis.
- Vince McMahon told Austin Theory if he doesn’t beat Finn Balor tonight, he’ll beat him up and leave him just a pile of blood, snot and broken teeth, take a selfie and send it to Theory’s mom.
- Austin Theory defeated Finn Balor by pinfall.
- After a distraction by Carmella and Zelina Vega, Nikki A.S.H. jumped Rhea Ripley.
- Omos defeated Reggie by pinfall.
- Maryse called out Beth Phoenix and tried to get her to cancel their match. It was a setup so she could nail Beth in the back with a purse that had a brick inside.
- The Street Profits, Rey and Dominik Mysterio defeated The Dirty Dawgs, Apollo Crews and Commander Azeez by pinfall.
- Bobby Lashley defeated Seth Rollins by disqualification after Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin attacked Lashley. Lashley was able to take both of them out, though. Then, The Usos nailed Rollins with a double superkick.
NXT
- LA Knight kicked off the show looking for Grayson Waller. Waller served Knight a restraining order to prevent him from going after him. However, Dexter Lumis also has an axe to grind, setting up a match.
- Grayson Waller defeated Dexter Lumis by pinfall.
- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Round 1 Match: The Creed Brothers defeated Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen by pinfall.
- Dante Chen vs Guru Raaj ended with Duke Hudson laying them out.
- Tony D’Angelo held a “memorial service” for Pete Dunne and spoke about how his attention is now on the North American Championship. That prompted Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams to come out, followed by Cameron Grimes. Hayes suggested Grimes and D’Angelo face each other with the winner getting a title shot.
- Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter tried to cheer up Briggs and Jensen. Wendy Choo was sleeping on top of the lockers and pointed out that Jensen’s got a crush. Jensen stumbled over his words and made things worse.
- Ivy Nile defeated Kay Lee Ray by pinfall after a distraction from Mandy Rose. After the match, Rose continued to beat down KLR with Toxic Attraction until Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta made the save.
- Backstage, Harland attacked Odyssey Jones and acerbated his injury.
- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Round 1 Match: Edris Enofe and Malik Blade defeated Legado del Fantasma by pinfall as Bron Breakker screwed over Santos Escobar’s attempted interference and Enofe and Blade capitalized on it.
- Dakota Kai defeated Yulisa Leon by pinfall.
- Cora Jade suggested to Raquel Gonzalez that they should team up for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. While Gonzalez declined, Jade told McKenzie Mitchell she’ll convince her.
- WALTER defeated Roderick Strong by pinfall.
MAIN EVENT
- Tommaso Ciampa defeated Akira Tozawa
- Pete Dunne defeated T-Bar
NXT UK
- Pretty Deadly defeated Sam Gradwell and Saxon Huxley by pinfall.
- Jinny talked trash about Amale, saying she’s a pitiful copycat. Later, Amale had her own pre-recorded video promo responding. She’s the French Hope and hope never dies.
- Blair Davenport still considers herself the heir to the NXT UK Women’s Championship.
- Isla Dawn defeated Emilia McKenzie by pinfall.
- A vignette hyped Jordan Devlin vs. Ilja Dragunov. They will fight next week in an Empty Arena Match.
- Noam Dar retained the NXT UK Heritage Cup Championship in a draw against A-Kid.
FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN
- The Bloodline celebrated Roman Reigns setting a record for his Universal Championship run. Seth Rollins interrupted with Kevin Owens to set up a tag team match against The Usos.
- Kofi Kingston defeated Madcap Moss by pinfall.
- Aliyah defeated Natalya by disqualification after Natalya refused to listen to the referee. Xia Li then came down to help Aliyah.
- The Viking Raiders defeated Los Lotharios by pinfall.
- SmackDown Women’s Championship Match: Charlotte Flair retained over Naomi by submission due in part to Sonya Deville overstepping as special guest referee.
- Sami Zayn pretended to shock himself with a cattle prod, but Johnny Knoxville pointed out that it wasn’t even on. Knoxville turned it on and shocked Zayn.
- Adam Pearce spoke to Eric Bischoff backstage and eventually informed Sonya Deville she’ll have a match with Naomi next week.
- Sheamus defeated Ricochet by pinfall.
- Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura bumped into Jeff Jarrett backstage, who playfully asked Boogs to spell his name, a la JE-FF JA-RR-E-TT.
- Seth Rollins and Kevin Owens defeated The Usos by disqualification after interference by Roman Reigns with a Superman Punch.

- James Drake defeated Bodhi Hayward.
- Draco Anthony defeated Javier Bernal.
- Lash Legend defeated Fallon Henley.
