Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.
Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.
Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.
With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.
MONDAY NIGHT RAW
- The show opened with the official weigh-in for Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley.
- Bianca Belair defeated Queen Zelina Vega by pinfall.
- Kevin Owens defeated Damian Priest by disqualification after Priest snapped and refused to heed to the referee’s five-count.
- Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan and Dana Brooke defeated Carmella, Tamina and Nikki A.S.H. by submission (Ripley forced Carmella to tap).
- RK-Bro won the first of three parts of the Alpha Academy Academic Challenge, which was a spelling bee. Otis spelled emmental, Riddle spelled calibration, Chad Gable misspelled disillusioned (thinking it was dissolution) and Randy Orton spelled dumbbell. Orton then defeated Gable by pinfall. Riddle challenged them to a scooter race next week.
- AJ Styles defeated Austin Theory by pinfall.
- Dominik and Rey Mysterio defeated The Street Profits by pinfall.
- The Miz held a birthday celebration for Maryse. Edge and Beth Phoenix interrupted and ruined it.
NXT
- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament Match: MSK defeated Jacket Time by pinfall to advance.
- Backstage, Zoey Stark spoke to Io Shirai. Stark said she’s not going to be back from her injury in time to compete in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, so she wants Shirai to find a new partner. Shirai said she doesn’t want a new partner, and Stark called her out for that meaning she does, in fact, like her. “I didn’t say that”, Shirai claimed. Tiffany Stratton then came by to insult their outfits and say she’ll beat Shirai later tonight.
- Santos Escobar (with Legado del Fantasma) cut a promo in the ring about Bron Breakker, who came out and said it’s as simple as Escobar issuing the challenge so he can accept it. Escobar said things are done on his time, not anyone else’s. Breakker then fought with Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde.
- No Disqualification Falls Count Anywhere Match: Solo Sikoa defeated Boa by pinfall with a splash through a table.
- Duke Hudson defeated Guru Raaj by pinfall. After the match, Dante Chen came out to get some payback and fight Hudson. Officials tried to separate them and Hudson used the distraction to take out Chen’s previously injured knee.
- Six-Woman Tag Team Match: Kay Lee Ray, Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta defeated Toxic Attraction by pinfall.
- Earlier today, Cora Jade approached Raquel Gonzalez at the gym. Gonzalez still rejects Jade’s offer to team up.
- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament Match: Grizzled Young Veterans defeated Andre Chase and Bodhi Hayward by pinfall. Von Wagner then attacked Hayward and Chase after the match and Robert Stone announced that Wagner’s not only been reinstated, but he’s under new management.
- Io Shirai defeated Tiffany Stratton by pinfall.
- Diamond Mine has challenged Imperium to a six-man tag team match.
- Musical performance by Ollie Jayy.
- North American Championship No. 1 Contender’s Match: Cameron Grimes defeated Tony D’Angelo by pinfall due in part to some interference by Pete Dunne.
- In the parking lot, Bron Breakker was almost jumped by Legado del Fantasma. However, Tommaso Ciampa showed up to stand with him, ready to fight. The heels backed off and drove away. Breakker and Ciampa will face Legado del Fantasma next week.
MAIN EVENT
- LA Knight defeated Cedric Alexander
- T-Bar defeated Roderick Strong
NXT UK
- Die Familie defeated Gallus by submission.
- Jinny defeated Amale by pinfall.
- Nathan Frazer had some words with Die Familie backstage. Frazer pointed out that Teoman only keeps the other two around to make sure he’s not a loser.
- Empty Arena Match for the NXT UK Championship: Ilja Dragunov (c) defeated Jordan Devlin by pinfall.
FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN
- Charlotte Flair cut a promo about how she’ll win the Royal Rumble. Shayna Baszler interrupted to say she’ll win it and then, she can challenge Flair. Aliyah came out next, followed by Natalya, then Shotzi, all talking about how they’ll win it. Finally, Sasha Banks made her return. Everyone fought and The Boss stood tall.
- Sheamus and Ridge Holland defeated Cesaro and Ricochet by pinfall.
- Naomi defeated Sonya Deville by pinfall.
- Sami Zayn had Jinder Mahal and Shanky on his show In-Zayn to talk trash about Johnny Knoxville, Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs. Boogs and Nakamura interrupted, naturally.
- Shinsuke Nakamura and Rick Boogs defeated Jinder Mahal and Shanky by pinfall.
- Big E and Kofi Kingston defeated Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss by pinfall.
- Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins had a face-to-face promo segment in the ring.

- Josh Briggs defeated Damon Kemp by pinfall.
- Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon defeated Amari Miller and Lash Legend by pinfall.
- Joe Gacy defeated Draco Anthony by pinfall.
