Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.
Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.
Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.
With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.
MONDAY NIGHT RAW
- The show opened with a promo from all parties for the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match talking trash about each other. Brock Lesnar wrecked Austin Theory while the rest walked off.
- The Street Profits defeated Dirty Dawgs by pinfall. Tommaso Ciampa was ringside to scout Dolph Ziggler and caused a distraction in the match.
- Damian Priest retained the United States Championship over AJ Styles by pinfall.
- 2-on-1 Handicap Match: Omos defeated Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin by pinfall.
- Reggie and Dana Brooke were at a restaurant for Valentine’s Day. Akira Tozawa and Tamina were scoping them out.
- Lita and Becky Lynch had a contract signing for their upcoming match at Elimination Chamber.
- Gauntlet Match: Rhea Ripley defeated Nikki A.S.H., then Liv Morgan, then Doudrop. Bianca Belair beat Ripley to earn the right to enter last in the Elimination Chamber. Belair and Ripley shared respect post-match.
- Dana Brooke told Reggie they’re just friends, so Reggie rolled her up for a pin and won the 24/7 Championship from her.
- Alpha Academy defeated The Mysterios by pinfall with some help from a distraction by The Miz and Maryse.
- Alexa Bliss is “cured” and will be the final member of the women’s Elimination Chamber match.
- Seth Rollins defeated Randy Orton by pinfall.
NXT VENGEANCE DAY
- Weaponized Steel Cage Match: Pete Dunne defeated Tony D’Angelo by pinfall.
- NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Toxic Attraction (c) defeated Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta by pinfall.
- North American Championship Match: Carmelo Hayes (c) defeated Cameron Grimes by pinfall.
- Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament Final: The Creed Brothers defeated MSK by pinfall.
- NXT Championship Match: Bron Breakker (c) defeated Santos Escobar by pinfall.
MAIN EVENT
- Tommaso Ciampa defeated T-Bar
- Veer defeated Apollo Crews
NXT UK
- Sam Gradwell was scheduled to face Kenny Williams, who came out on crutches and said he can’t compete. Sid Scala showed up on the screen to say Williams is cleared to compete and just simply stole a pair of crutches. Gradwell defeated Williams by pinfall. After the match, Williams attacked Gradwell with the crutches and cut off Gradwell’s mohawk.
- Xia Brookside was asked if she considers herself a positive role model like Amale. Brookside took offense that this is about Amale instead of her and said her daddy (Robbie Brookside) is going to hear about this.
- Dave Mastiff presented Jack Starz with some challenges to be more like him.
- Emilia McKenzie defeated Angel Hayze by pinfall.
- Nathan Frazer spoke to Andy Sherpherd about his recent wins and such. Frazer put out a challenge for Ilja Dragunov’s NXT UK Championship.
- Vignette: Die Familie lamented Teoman’s loss, but he said he’s not a loser so long as the family wins. Losing will bring them even closer together. Nobody will stop them, and that’s a promise.
- Stevie Turner defeated Myla Grace by pinfall.
- A video package highlighted the upcoming match between Moustache Mountain vs Oliver Carter and Ashton Smith for the NXT UK Tag Team Championship.
- Jordan Devlin defeated Wolfgang by pinfall.
FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN
- Roman Reigns and Goldberg had their face-to-face.
- Ricochet defeated Sheamus
- Sami Zayn defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to win the Intercontinental Championship.
- Ivar defeated Jimmy Uso.
- Drew McIntyre had a promo segment with Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin.
- Contract signing: Ronda Rousey and Naomi will face Charlotte Flair and Sonya Deville at Elimination Chamber. This ended with a brawl where Rousey and Naomi stood tall.
NXT LEVEL UP
- Harland defeated Javier Bernal
- Fallon Henley and Kayla Inlay defeated Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley (aka Natalie Holland)
- Edris Enofe defeated Kushida
