WWE Recap Report: Full TV Show Results & Highlights of the Week



Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.

Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.

Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.

With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.


  • Brock Lesnar kicked off the show with a promo about how he’ll beat Roman Reigns this coming Sunday.
  • Rey Mysterio defeated The Miz by pinfall.
  • Omos defeated The Viking Raiders by count-out. Bobby Lashley then came out to challenge Omos for WrestleMania.
  • Reggie wanted to talk to Dana Brooke backstage about something that he never gets an opportunity to, because they keep getting interrupted. He proposed. She said yes. Then, Tamina jumped them, but they got away. Akira Tozawa then proposed to Tamina, who said yes. R-Truth was spying and said “That gives me an idea. By the power vested in me.”
  • Roman Reigns cut a promo on how it’s always been personal between himself and Brock Lesnar and this Sunday, he’ll do the one thing he hasn’t done, which is to beat The Beast at WrestleMania.
  • Eight-Woman Tag Team Match: Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley, Naomi and Sasha Banks defeated Zelina Vega, Carmella, Natalya and Shayna Baszler by pinfall.
  • Kevin Owens cut a promo about Stone Cold Steve Austin.
  • Austin Theory defeated Ricochet by pinfall.
  • Bianca Belair cut a promo on Becky Lynch, who came out. They fought and Lynch had brought out scissors to cut off Belair’s braid, but Belair managed to cut off some of Lynch’s hair instead.
  • 2-on-1 Handicap Match:Drew McIntyre defeated Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss by pinfall.
  • Edge spoke about how he’s already in AJ Styles’ head and WrestleMania will be his judgment day.
  • RK-Bro defeated The Usos by disqualification after The Street Profits interfered. Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura joined in the post-match fighting.


  • Six-Man Tag Team Match: Imperium defeated LA Knight and MSK by pinfall.
  • Kay Lee Ray and Io Shirai spoke about their inclusion in the women’s title match. May the best woman win.
  • Backstage, Dakota Kai was looking for Wendy Choo and found her napping gear on the floor, but no Wendy.
  • Earlier, Tatum Paxley was trying to help Ivy Nile out, but Nile told her if she wants to be in Diamond Mine, she needs to kick ass, rather than kiss ass.
  • Ivy Nile defeated Tiffany Stratton by submission in part due to a distraction by Sarray.
  • Two video packages highlighted Dolph Ziggler and Cora Jade to hype their title matches for NXT Stand & Deliver.
  • Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen defeated Legado del Fantasma by pinfall.
  • Persia Pirotta and Indi Hartwell are still arguing over which couple is better. They’re going to leave it up to the Dallas crowd this weekend in some fashion.
  • Toxic Attraction cut a promo in the ring about Stand & Deliver. Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne said they have nobody left to fight for their tag titles. Dakota Kai came out, followed by Raquel Gonzalez, who embraced with a hug and have reformed their friendship. They sent Toxic Attraction packing and posed with the tag titles in the ring to send a message.
  • Von Wagner defeated Bodhi Hayward by pinfall. Wagner then took out Jacket Time (who were ringside on commentary) and ripped Ikemen Jiro’s jacket.
  • Joe Gacy defeated Draco Anthony by pinfall.
  • Nikkita Lyons defeated Sloane Jacobs by pinfall. After the match, Lash Legend appeared on the TitanTron to talk trash about Lyons.
  • Triple Threat North American Championship Ladder Match Qualifier: Cameron Grimes defeated A-Kid and Roderick Strong to earn his spot in the title match.


  • Veer Mahaan defeated Cedric Alexander
  • Finn Balor defeated Apollo Crews


  • Xia Brookside defeated Amale by pinfall with some help from a woman ringside (Lizzy Evo) who has allied herself with Brookside.
  • Isla Dawn still has Meiko Satomura’s championship and is going to keep it until Satomura does exactly what she demands.
  • Next week, Ilja Dragunov defends the NXT UK Championship against Roderick Strong.
  • Trent Seven defeated Ashton Smith by pinfall with a handful of tights.
  • A-Kid is ready to step up to Teoman.
  • Wild Boar is still on the hunt for Eddie Dennis.
  • Backstage, Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter are upset at Trent Seven cheating. Tyler Bate is torn between supporting his friend and partner, but clearly not approving of his actions. Sid Scala broke up the argument and he’ll be talking to both teams.
  • Tate Mayfairs defeated Kenny Williams by count-out due to Sam Gradwell causing a distraction.
  • Wolfgang’s interview was interrupted by Die Familie. Charlie Dempsey asked why Gallus always gets to represent UK heritage. Wolfgang said he’s always ready for a fight and doesn’t need a reason.
  • Andy Shepherd moderated a sit down between Dragunov and Strong, where they touted each other’s accolades, but spoke about how they’ll win their upcoming title match.
  • Noam Dar retained the NXT UK Heritage Cup over Mark Coffey with a 2-1 score wherein Sha Samuels went for a distraction and Joe Coffey tried to help, but inadvertently also distracted his brother.


  • Madcap Moss won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
  • Intercontinental Championship Triple Threat Match: Ricochet (c) defeated Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo by pinfall to retain his title.
  • A video package looked at the feud between Kevin Owens and Stone Cold Steve Austin.
  • Naomi and Sasha Banks defeated Carmella and Queen Zelina Vega by pinfall.
  • Ronda Rousey spoke to Kayla Braxton about how she’ll rip off Charlotte Flair’s arm if she doesn’t tap out. Then, a video package aired about the Flair and Rousey match to come. After that, Flair cut a promo about how she’ll beat Rousey at WrestleMania.
  • Video Package: Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns
  • Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura were about to make their entrance when Austin Theory attacked Pat McAfee, who chased after him. Theory went into Mr. McMahon’s office. McAfee kicked down the door and McMahon threatened to cancel his WrestleMania match or fire him if he doesn’t go back to do his job. Rick Boogs then faced Jimmy Uso, which ended when Austin Theory came back out and Finn Balor attacked him from behind. The referee threw the match out. After coming back from the commercial break, it had been changed to a six-man tag where The Usos and Theory defeated Boogs, Nakamura and Balor by pinfall (Theory pinned Balor).
  • Happy Talk with Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss with special guest Angela (Drew McIntyre’s sword) ended with a joke of “What does his sword and his mother have in common? He lost both of them.” McIntyre came out, send them packing and used the sword to break the table in the ring.


  • Xyon Quinn defeated Dante Chen
  • Kayden Carter defeated Tatum Paxley
  • Damon Kemp defeated James Drake
