WWE Recap Report: Full TV Show Results & Highlights of the Week

Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.

Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.

Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.

With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.

  • Promo: Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes
  • Sasha Banks and Naomi retained the Women’s Tag Team Championship over Livv for Brutality by pinfall. After the match, Rhea Ripley argued with Liv Morgan. Ripley then turned on Morgan by attacking her.
  • Bianca Belair isn’t supposed to put her hands on Sonya Deville while she’s an authority figure, but she did anyway. Adam Pearce saw to it that she was fined only $1, while the higher-ups are looking into punishing Deville for abusing her power.
  • Veer Mahaan defeated a jobber (Jeff Brooks) by submission.
  • Kevin Owens had Chad Gable check over a lie detector test about Ezekiel clearly being Elias. Ezekiel passed every question, so Owens got upset, and also had hired Gable to fight Ezekiel. Ezekiel beat Gable by disqualification after Otis got involved.
  • The Street Profits defeated RK-Bro by pinfall.
  • Edge and Damian Priest spoke about why they’re heels now and how Edge has challenged AJ Styles for another match at WrestleMania Backlash. In the locker room, Styles accepted the challenge and was attacked by Edge and Priest.
  • Theory defeated Finn Balor by pinfall to win the United States Championship.
  • The double wedding saw Reggie pin Dana Brooke, Tamina pin Reggie, Akira Tozawa pin Tamina and Dana Brooke pin Tozawa to then retreat with the 24/7 Championship back in her hands.
  • MVP and Omos challenged Bobby Lashley to an arm wrestling match.
  • Cody Rhodes defeated Kevin Owens by count-out after Owens walked out, offended at Seth Rollins yelling at him to get his fat ass back into the ring and to fight his battle for him.

  • The show started with Pretty Deadly addressing their tag team title win from last week. Grizzled Young Veterans came out to say Pretty Deadly only won the titles because they weren’t involved in the match. Legado del Fantasma then went straight after Zack Gibson and James Drake. Right after that, Bron Breakker walked into the ring and called out Joe Gacy, who said he isn’t hard to find.
  • Tiffany Stratton defeated Sarray by pinfall.
  • Grayson Waller defeated Sanga by pinfall.
  • A vignette aired about a little girl playing the WWE video games growing up to become Roxanne Perez (aka Rok-C). She’s going to debut in NXT next week. Roxanne’s interview with McKenzie Mitchell was interrupted by Toxic Attraction. Mandy Rose told her she shouldn’t set her bar too high, as she’s not going to reach it. Then, they told her to move up her debut to tonight.
  • Legado del Fantasma defeated Grizzled Young Veterans by pinfall. Fallon Henley went after Elektra Lopez during the break.
  • Wes Lee was asked by McKenzie Mitchell about his future. Lee has a lot of doubts about things after the chaos of the past few weeks. Xyon Quinn interrupted and said he should maybe teach him a lesson. Lee has his doubts, but he’s at home in the ring.
  • Carmelo Hayes defeated Santos Escobar by pinfall. Two guys in suits who must be associated with Tony D’Angelo interfered and went after Escobar to give Hayes the advantage. After the match, Hayes and Trick Williams said the North American Championship is coming home in two weeks. Solo Sikoa then took out Hayes and Williams and had a brief stare down with Grimes to say he’s got the next title shot after that.
  • Natalya defeated Tatum Paxley by submission.
  • Tony D’Angelo was asked about the goons who attacked Escobar. He denied it and complimented Escobar’s car.
  • Xyon Quinn defeated Wes Lee by pinfall.
  • While Natalya had put the locker room on notice, Nikkita Lyons is actually coming after Natalya.
  • Roxanne Perez defeated Jacy Jayne by pinfall.
  • Legado del Fantasma saw that their car has a boot on it and a dead fish on the windshield.
  • NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Pretty Deadly defeated Dexter Lumis and Duke Hudson by pinfall to retain their titles.
  • Bron Breakker confronted Joe Gacy, who said he’d return Rick Steiner’s Hall of Fame ring if Breakker agreed to giving him a title match in two weeks. Breakker agreed, Gacy gave the ring back and said Breakker needs to take a leap of faith before pushing him off the set.

  • Apollo Crews defeated T-Bar
  • Tommaso Ciampa defeated Cedric Alexander

  • Back Alley Brawl: Sam Gradwell defeated Kenny Williams by pinfall. A masked Superstar had distracted Williams during the match and stalked him into the back after it was over.
  • Emilia McKenzie defeated Stevie Turner by pinfall.
  • In two weeks, a World of Darkness Match will see Meiko Satomura defend the NXT UK Women’s Championship against Isla Dawn.
  • Earlier this week, Lash Legend, Ivy Nile, Damon Kemp and Von Wagner arrived as part of a talent exchange that will start next week. Wagner bumped shoulders with Saxon Huxley to hint at those two fighting.
  • Eliza Alexander and Xia Brookside were stoked over Alexander’s win last week. Next week, Brookside will be in action and someone is going to get battered.
  • In three weeks, Jordan Devlin gets a shot at the NXT UK Championship on the special 200th episode of NXT UK. Next week, there will be a contract signing between Devlin and Ilja Dragunov.
  • 2-out-of-3 Falls Match: Moustache Mountain retained the NXT UK Tag Team Championship over Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter.

  • Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair had a contract signing that got physical with Rousey standing tall.
  • Xavier Woods defeated Butch
  • Gunther squashed Teddy Goodz.
  • Riddle defeated Jey Uso by pinfall.
  • Sasha Banks and Naomi had an interview with Kayla Braxton about their tag title reign. It was interrupted by Natalya and Shayna Baszler, who are gunning for the belts.
  • Madcap Moss defeated Angel Garza by pinfall. Happy Corbin then stole the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy after attacking Moss.
  • Lumberjack Match: Sami Zayn ran off. He will face Drew McIntyre in a steel cage match next week.

  • Malik Blade and Edris Enofe defeated Damaris Griffin and Quincy Elliott
  • Fallon Henley defeated Thea Hail
  • Bodhi Hayward defeated Dante Chen
