Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.

Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.

Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.

With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.


  • MizTV with Paul Heyman was interrupted by Riddle.
  • Jimmy Uso defeated Montez Ford by pinfall.
  • Interview: Seth Rollins
  • 24/7 Championship Match: Dana Brooke vs Becky Lynch didn’t start, as Lynch attacked Brooke before the bell. Asuka eventually came out to fight with Lynch for a moment.
  • Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan defeated Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H. by pinfall.
  • Ezekiel defeated Kevin Owens by pinfall.
  • MVP defeated Cedric Alexander by pinfall.
  • Money in the Bank Qualifying Match: Seth Rollins defeated AJ Styles by pinfall.
  • Riddle defeated Ciampa by pinfall.
  • Bianca Belair spoke about her title match for Money in the Bank. The Judgment Day appeared on the TitanTron to explain why they took out Edge and why Rhea Ripley will beat Belair.
  • Chad Gable defeated Mustafa Ali by pinfall.
  • Veer Mahaan defeated Rey Mysterio by submission.
  • Bobby Lashley and Theory ended the show with a posedown. Lashley won, so Theory attacked him and threw baby oil in Lashley’s eyes.


  • NXT Tag Team Championship Match: The Creed Brothers retained the titles over Edris Enofe and Malik Blade
  • Fallon Henley defeated Tiffany Stratton
  • Wes Lee defeated Xyon Quinn
  • The Dyad (Joe Gacy’s druids) defeated Dante Chen and Javier Bernal
  • Promo: Tony D’Angelo’s crew (including Legado del Fantasma) had an in-ring segment that was interrupted by Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams to help set up D’Angelo versus Hayes for the North American Championship.
  • Bron Breakker defeated Duke Hudson. Following the match, Cameron Grimes challenged Breakker to a match for the title at Great American Bash coming on July 5.
  • Giovanni Vinci defeated Guru Raaj
  • Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams defeated Channing Lorenzo and Troy Donovan
  • Six-Woman Tag Team Match: Cora Jade, Indi Hartwell and Roxanne Perez defeated Toxic Attraction


  • T-Bar defeated Reggie
  • Shelton Benjamin defeated Akira Tozawa


  • Tiger Turan defeated Josh Morrell
  • Lash Legend defeated Myla Grace
  • Wolfgang and Damon Kemp defeated Noam Dar and Sha Samuels
  • Trent Seven announced his retirement, but it was a ruse wherein he turned on Tyler Bate


  • Vince McMahon opened the show just to welcome everyone to Friday Night SmackDown.
  • Riddle cut a promo about wishing Randy Orton well in his recovery and how he plans to beat Roman Reigns later tonight for the belts.
  • Last Laugh Match: Madcap Moss defeated Happy Corbin by pinfall. After the match, Corbin took offense to everything Pat McAfee has been saying about Corbin and threatened him. McAfee led the crowd to pointing and laughing at Corbin.
  • The New Day defeated Jinder Mahal and Shanky by pinfall.
  • Both Drew McIntyre and Sheamus will be in Money in the Bank.
  • Raquel Rodriguez defeated Shayna Baszler by pinfall to qualify for Money in the Bank.
  • Roman Reigns retained the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship over Riddle by pinfall. Brock Lesnar then came out to take out The Bloodline.


  • Thea Hail defeated Arianna Grace
  • Guru Raaj defeated Myles Borne
  • Ivy Nile defeated Elektra Lopez
