After retaining the title, the lights went out. Upon coming back on, the return of Mia Yim is confirmed! She gets in the face of Deonna Purrazzo, but she wants nothing to do with her and walks off. As Yim goes to see Valkyrie, Purrazzo rushes back and fails to attack her from behind. Mia Yim fends her off, and she enjoys the spotlight with Taya Valkyrie.
Moose heads to the ring. He says he was the greatest champion this company ever had, and in all of professional wrestling. How does Impact and these people repay him? With disrespect. At Rebellion, he gave this company the best match it ever had, easily match of the year. He wasn’t scheduled to appear tonight, and as of right now, this paper champion Josh Alexander won’t be defending his title against Ishii, because he has hijacked this show. He’s going to do terrible things to all these fans if he doesn’t get what he deserves.
Blackout! The EGV promo video airs. Here comes Sami Callihan! He appears in the ring with a baseball bat. He takes Moose down and follows up with the Cactus Driver ’97. Callihan screams: “The Death Machine is back!”
