  • Damian Priest defeated Sami Zayn by pinfall. JD McDonagh interfered in the match on Priest’s benefit, but Priest pushed him after the match for getting involved in his business. Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens then took out McDonagh.
  • Promo: The Miz did an impersonation of LA Knight and badmouthed him, calling him a flash in the pan and ridiculing his catchphrases.
  • The Viking Raiders defeated The New Day by pinfall.
  • Backstage, The Judgment Day continued to argue, with Rhea Ripley trying to get Priest and Finn Balor back on the same page, but failing to do so.
  • A tribute to Bray Wyatt aired with a video package and his signature rocking chair being given the spotlight.
  • Backstage, Drew McIntyre apologized for accidentally hitting Xavier Woods when he threw his commentary table chair (which was intended to hit Erik). Kofi Kingston said not to worry about it, as he and Woods know that was an accident. McIntyre promised to take care of the Viking Raiders problem next week.
  • Chad Gabledefeated Ludwig Kaiser by disqualification after Giovanni Vinci interfered. Otis jumped in to even the odds, but Imperium overtook him, too. Gunther ended things by powerbombing Gable to send a message, after Gable had momentarily escaped the first attempt.
  • A tribute to Bob Barker aired, featuring his time hosting Raw.
  • Promo: Seth Rollins hyped his match with Shinsuke Nakamura ahead of Payback, inviting him to come out and face him now, and pointing out that the fans don’t sing Nakamura’s song anymore like they do with his music. A vignette then aired on the TitanTron of Nakamura training, saying he will dismantle Rollins and be the reason he can’t walk his daughter down the aisle on her wedding day. Rollins responds by being underwhelmed that the Nakamura who headlined the Tokyo Dome isn’t out here and it’s just a video instead. At Payback, he’s not going to stop until someone pulls him off Nakamura, and then, Shinsuke will know that he’s not going to take anything away from him: not his title, his future or his family. Nakamura then attacked Rollins from behind.
  • Backstage, Owens and Zayn updated the card to say they’re having a Steel City Street Fight at Payback for the tag titles instead of just a normal match.
  • Tommaso Ciampa defeated Big Bronson Reed by pinfall.
  • Promo: Rhea Ripley talks some trash about Raquel Rodriguez. In typical fashion, Raquel then came out, they brawled and she came out of the confrontation standing tall.
  • A tribute to Terry Funk aired.
  • Falls Count Anywhere Match: Becky Lynch defeated Zoey Stark by pinfall.
