Here are the results for episode of WWE SmackDown airing on December 15, 2023.
Roman Reigns and The Bloodline make their way to the ring. The Tribal Chief tells Green Bay to acknowledge him. One man has helped the cause over the past year, and he will be responsible for The Bloodline when he is done. Jimmy, join him in congratulating Solo Sikoa. Randy Orton enters. He says for 18 months he has been thinking about what he would say. All he needs to say to Roman Reigns is he’s coming for him. He took everything from him, so Randy is coming for everything he has.
It ends at the Royal Rumble, because he is challenging him for the championship. Roman Reigns says he hasn’t earned an opportunity, so he can go to the back of the line. You can’t show up, demand an opportunity, and expect to get one. It isn’t 2007 anymore, he is levels above him and everyone else. Get out of the ring and do not disrespect his Tribal Chief. Randy Orton says he will forever be a legend killer. He tries an RKO, but Reigns gets out of it. The voices tell Randy Orton that Roman might have just crapped his pants. They also said “Daddy’s Back”.
We get a vignette highlighting the career of former NXT Champion, Carmelo Hayes.

LA Knight tells Randy Orton he knows how the numbers work, so he will have his back. Randy Orton tells him to stay out of his way, but LA Knight is sure that if anyone is taking everything away from Roman Reigns, it will be him. Yeah.
#2. [US Championship Tournament] Kevin Owens vs. Austin Theory – Winner: Kevin Owens
Roman Reigns says Randy Orton ruined the celebration. He tells Jimmy Uso that if he can handle Orton by himself, just imagine the kind of promotion he could get. Jimmy exclaims “Yeet” and immediately regrets it.
We get a Karrion Kross vignette talking about how things will be recycled. There is a new beginning and everything is about to crumble. Soon.
Backstage, Carmelo Hayes shows his respect to Kevin Owens. He won’t blindside KO, but he needs this win.
Damage CTRL is going to up their game and take all the gold. Finally, Bayley’s dream will become a reality.

Solo Sikoa made his way out to help Jimmy during the match, but LA Knight ensured that wouldn’t happen. Roman Reigns blindsides LA Knight. Randy Orton waits for him in the ring, but the Tribal Chief hesitates. He eventually gets in the ring and a fight breaks out. He holds Orton while Jimmy Uso recovers to help him. LA Knight returns to help Orton, but Solo Sikoa keeps the numbers game in The Bloodline’s favor. AJ Styles returns! Phenomenal Forearm to Reigns! The Bloodline retreats while AJ Styles, Randy Orton and LA Knight hold the ring. Styles takes out LA Knight! And then walks out as a confused Orton and Bloodline look on.
