Bayley & Naomi talk about the Damage CTRL situation, but Bianca Belair butts in and says she deserves everything she gets for attacking her for the past two years with them. Belair gets heated when Bayley looks to garner sympathy, so Naomi directs her away.
#2. [WrestleMania Tag Team Championship Qualifier] Grayson Waller & Austin Theory vs. Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows (w/ Michin) – Winners: Waller & Theory
While on the way to her match, Iyo Sky takes out Bayley backstage.
#3. Naomi vs. Iyo Sky (w/ Damage CTRL) – Winner: Iyo Sky with an assist from Damage CTRL
Damage CTRL attacks Naomi afterward, and Asuka spits mist in her face. Bianca Belair does her best to make the save, but the numbers eventually catch up to her.
Jade Cargill will make her first official appearance as a WWE Superstar next Friday on SmackDown.
Pretty Deadly stick their noses in while Kevin Owens is talking to Nick Aldis, so a tag match is set up between them for next week. Kevin’s partner? Randy Orton.
Earlier this week, LA Knight showed up in a car to AJ Styles’ house. A fight broke out, and the cops had to be called. When they arrived, they separated them and arrested Knight.
#4. [WrestleMania Tag Team Championship Qualifier] Street Profits vs. Authors Of Pain (w/ Paul Ellering) – Winners: Street Profits
A face off between Roman Reigns & Cody Rhodes closes the show. The Tribal Chief arrives on his own, except for Paul Heyman, who is no physical threat. Cody Rhodes enters and grabs a microphone. If Roman came alone, then he came alone. Reigns calls him a fool. He is stupid to him. From his perspective, he is not fit for this job of being on top, because he is an idiot. Thinking with his heart, nobody cares. Start thinking with your head.
He aligned himself with his little brother, Seth Rollins. What happened on Monday? He was in a jam, but where was Seth? It seemed like he was showing his true colors. When he was in The Shield, he thought they were becoming family, but then Rollins stabbed him in the back. So Cody is a fool for trusting him. Rhodes fully remembers The Shield. Does Reigns remember the last team to beat them? The last name was Rhodes.
When he was away, he was fully aware of factions, betrayal, and all that drama, so he isn’t new to that. Cody asks the fans if he can trust Seth Rollins, and they seem to believe so. Rollins might hate his guts, but Cody knows one thing. He hates Roman even more. And seeing the situation, he will raise another. Can Roman trust his partner at WrestleMania? Can he trust The Rock? Who is really in charge? The Tribal Chief? Or the Final Boss?
Roman says that is old. He already said that to him. He is spinning things around. That’s all he does. He promises so much, but he doesn’t keep them. You know why? Because he is #2, and he says that out of respect. Cody is the greatest #2 of all time, but that is all he will ever be. Reigns is #1 forever. Cody Rhodes has conceded to where the next generation may want to be the next Roman Reigns. But when it comes to WrestleMania, and for who defeats him, he won’t be #2, because he will be the one.
Good luck at WrestleMania. Cody offers a handshake, but Reigns declines. He walks down the ramp before snapping his fingers. Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso surround ringside. They make their way to Reigns, and then we see Jey Uso & Seth Rollins make their way to ringside. The show ends with the heels backing away.
