Impact Wrestling Results (11/17/2022)

Here are the results for the episode of Impact Wrestling airing on November 17, 2022. Did you miss the previous episode? You can catch up with the results here: 11/10

#1. [X Division Tournament] PJ Black vs. Black Taurus — Winner: Black Taurus

While Frankie Kazarian and Josh Alexander talk, Bully Ray knocks on the door and respectfully lets them know that he will call his shot after their match. Frankie doesn’t trust his word and know that he has something up his sleeve, which frustrates Bully. He leaves after insincerely wishing Frankie luck. Josh Alexander is annoyed that people keep telling him he shouldn’t trust Bully, because it doesn’t matter, he’s prepared for whatever he does.

#2. Motor City Machine Guns vs. Aussie Open vs. Bullet Club (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) vs. Shera & Raj Singh — Winners: Bullet Club

Rosemary asks Taya Valkyrie where Jessicka is. Last she saw her was on TikTok doing a Deathdolls dance. Taya talked to Scott D’Amore and if Jessicka doesn’t show up she will take her place against Tasha Steelz tonight. She’s sure Jessicka will show up tomorrow night and Rosemary hopes she will be.

Jordynne Grace isn’t happy that Masha Slamovich couldn’t just ask for her title match, instead of attacking her from behind after a match. She challenges Slamovich to a Last Woman Standing match at Overdrive.

#3. Tasha Steelz (w/ Savannah Evans) vs. Taya Valkyrie (w/ Rosemary) — Winner: Taya Valkyrie

Steelz attacks Valkyrie after the bell, so Rosemary & Savannah get involved. Jessicka finally shows up to save her friends, beer hat and everything. She takes out Steelz & Savannah by herself and then celebrates with Taya & Rosemary.

Josh Alexander gets a word with Tommy Dreamer. He’s told that Bully Ray is a changed man and can be trusted. Tommy is the only one on the roster who does.

#4. [Old School Rules] Steve Maclin vs. Tommy Dreamer — Winner: Steve Maclin with a DDT on to some chairs

Bully Ray comes to the aid of Tommy Dreamer, but then Moose arrives to even the odds, despite the friction he’s had with Maclin. They work together to put Bully through a table, before Josh Alexander rushes on down to save him. Bully & Josh work together to smash Maclin through a table. They both hold each other’s prizes for a moment. Josh hands him his Call Your Shot Cup, but Bully doesn’t hand over his title. At least, not right away.

Masha Slamovich has her first interview ever in Impact, which does entirely in Russian. She insults her interviewer, saying she is a little girl and knows nothing at all. Why would she ask her about one single loss? Also, only an idiot would ask where she has been. No one understands what needs to be done to win, she does what she has to. Masha is asked what she expects to come out of her match with Jordynne Grace. She simply responds with “death”.

#5. Laredo Kid vs. Rich Swann — Winner: Rich Swann

Before the next match, Violent By Design attacks Sami Callihan during his entrance.

#6. [Death Machine’s Double Jeopardy] Sami Callihan vs. Eric Young — Winner: Sami Callihan with the Cactus Driver ’97

After his loss, the other Violent By Design members ominously stand over the fallen Eric Young. They do not look happy. It looks like they could turn on their leader, but I believe it’s more about them sending a message. Eric Young always punishes them for losing, so this is their way of telling him they do not appreciate his failure.
