As noted earlier on the site, it was reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer that former TNA Knockouts Champions Taryn Terrell and Awesome Kong will be finishing up with TNA following last night’s Slammiversary pay-per-view event.
Taryn Terrell, Awesome Kong and Bob Ryder of TNA all shot down this report via Twitter. Meltzer would go on to say on the Wrestling Observer.com:
Bob Ryder of TNA on Twitter stated that Awesome Kong and Taryn Terrell are still under contract, until December and March, contrary to what was reported her earlier today.
When TNA President Dixie Carter was asked about the “major stars” leaving the company, to which she replied, “they are not leaving. Will still be working for us.”
